A bumpy ride, It was the next day after the everything had happened and Thor thought it would be best if we returned to Asgard as soon as possible.  I was still very weak unable to lift a hand, barely able to stay conscious for very long. Thor was preparing me for the trip home, his gentle hands wrapped my wounded back tightly so not to be aggravated by movement too much.  As he wrapped, I leaned against him head resting on his shoulder.  The pain was terrible, but at least I was alive.  Ulduar lay in the bedding next to us still slumbering from the night before.  Our child safe and sound... I gave a small grunt of pain as Thor tightened the last wrapping.  I was drained of energy and even though father  had lifted his spell until I could return home...I still felt terrible. "When we get home, I will take care of you.  I will do everything so you do not have to," Thor murmured as he leaned me back down into the bed.   "You cannot feed our child...I will have to put forth the effort to stay awake to do so," I told him.   "I suppose you are right, but anything else I will do for you," I smiled at his promise to me.  It faded quickly as pain came back making me close my eyes.  "I apologize in advance, you will need to ride in a cart.  It may be a very uncomfortable ride with your injuries." I opened my eyes slightly, "I will have to bare it, I gave birth to our son.  I think it would be minor pain compared to it," he smirked at my comment.  He leaned in and kissed my lips by just barely bushing them.  He knew my tolerance right now was very low for any such amount pain and did not want to hurt me.  Instead, he lingered nuzzling his nose against mine.   ~~~ An hour or so had pasted and Thor had thoroughly prepared me for the trip home.  A royal guard came to the door informing that everything had been arranged outside. "It is time, let us go home,"  Thor had picked up Ulduar handing him to me and then picked me up gingerly.  His arm across my wounds just about put me out cold, he knew it was very painful.  "Can you handle this till I set you down?" "Yes..." I painfully murmured. "I will try to hurry.  Guard grab more blankets, I wish for my husband to be as comfortable as possible with my child on our trip," the man nodded grabbed the blankets to carry down to the caravan. ~~~ Once outside, Thor was extremely careful stepping up into the cart, setting me down carefully.  He then turn back to grab hold of the blankets from the guard and laid them down over the hay.  He then moved me to lay down on my side, so as to not aggravate the wounds any more than they already were.  I could feel warmth from my back, my wounds must have reopened from the little amount of movement. "Is this alright for you?  Will you be able to withstand the trail?" I furrowed my eyebrows trying to let the pain fade a bit. "Yes...this will be fine," I held Ulduar to me, wrapped up in a warm blanket with me.   Of course I could not expect this ride in this cart to have gone smooth right?  The trip was terrible, it felt as though every bump in path was working to cause me pain.  Thor would check in once in a while but I would just remain on my side enduring the nudges of the cart as the horses pulled it along.   Upon nightfall we had finally made it home, I felt like I was broken into pieces but Thor came to take me inside immediately.  When the guards saw the state I was in, they could only imagine what had happened.  Especially in the mood I left from here in. Thor had the guards open the doors to our chambers and he carried me in laying me down carefully.  He knew I was aching from the ride in the cart and that I was in need of fresh bandages.  He set to work and soon fresh bandages were applied to my slowly healing wounds. "There...rest now.  You are safe, our child is safe, and I will make sure of it," he smiled pulling the blankets up around me. "Thank you..." my exhausted eyes closed and sleep took me quickly. Loki
